Hi Friends!
My name is Chelsea (if you hadn't already guessed!). I've been wanting to create something like this for y'all for a while, but no one tells you how difficult it all is to start a new business, go through legal documents to get everything in check, blah blah blah... you just think, "I want to help people and pursue my passion as my career!", and then you find out that you actually have to do 34058673982384092 things... before you can even get there.
BUT, WE ARE HERE! And I'm so happy to finally be able to make this content for you! I wanted to share a little bit about my background with you so that you know me a little bit more, and I hope to get to know you more as well.
As it stands right now, I have my BS in Exercise & Health Sciences, CPR Certification, CrossFit Level 1 Certification, and am also studying to receive my Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification. If you are also in the health & fitness industry, you're probably aware that EVERYTHING is ALWAYS changing, so you have to keep up!
I was a CrossFit Coach for a little over 2 years, coaching big classes, small classes, smaller group classes for those not able to make it into the gym, as well as personal training. I have experience with creating workout regimens for classes, and personal routines as well. I have also been macro coaching for some clients.
WHAT I CAN'T HELP WITH: I think this topic is SUPER important! In regards to nutrition, I cannot make a meal plan for you! I am not a Registered Dietitian, so if a meal plan is something that you're looking for, then you're in the wrong place! I will not be able to tell you what you should eat/should not eat for any kind of condition/illness that you may have--with that, you should first consult your doctor, and then work with a Registered Dietitian to figure out a good plan for you!
THE DIFFERENCE: What I can and can't help with is very important to understand. I am more than happy to create a workout regimen for you according to your goals, and can even work with you to see what weight you can do for an exercise, and help you progress from there. In terms of macro coaching, it is very different than meal planning! Macro coaches determine (according to your current weight, height, age, how active you are, what kinds of workouts you do and for how long, as well as what your goal is) how many grams you will need in a day for protein, carbs and fats. With this, we can also help you with tips on how to get your macros in, how best to go about tracking, and ways to keep it simple.
I support flexible dieting, which restricts absolutely no food (unless you're allergic of course), but rather helps you determine a healthy amount of whatever it is that you want to eat, while also helping you to your goal.
If you've made it this far, then I hope this post helps determine if I am the right fit for you or not! I'm also more than happy to answer any questions if you do have any that I haven't already addressed, so please feel free to reach out anytime.
Peace and love,
Chelsea
